MegaJoints — Privacy Policy

Summary

MegaJoints is a club management app for cricket teams. You can use most of it without an account. If you sign in to use the Club features, we store only what is needed to run your team: your name, email address and the club activity you enter yourself. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics tools.

What we collect

If you sign in (optional):

• Account information — your name, email address and profile picture, provided by Google Sign-In (or an email address and password if you sign in with email).
• Player profile — anything you choose to add: playing role, batting position, bowling style, skill level, jersey number, phone number and UPI ID. All of these are optional.
• Club activity — your team memberships, match-day availability responses, auction registrations and fee payment status.

Without signing in: the offline tools (group collection, expenses, team auction) keep their data only on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos from your device library, or any advertising identifier. The app requests no special device permissions.

Why we use it

Solely to provide the app's features: signing you in, showing your team its member list, collecting availability for match days, tracking who has paid club fees or auction registration fees, and running team auctions. There is no other use — no advertising, no profiling, no sale of data.

Who can see your information

• Your team's members can see your name, profile details and club activity within that team.
• Other teams cannot see your data. Each team's information is technically isolated; only members of a team can read that team's data.
• Teams are private. You can only join a team with its invite code — there is no public team directory. A team's name and member count can be seen by other club admins when they search for teams to invite to a multi-team tournament auction. No personal data is public.
• If you register for a multi-team tournament auction, participating teams can see your name, team and registration/payment status.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Hosting) by Google LLC to sign you in and store club data. Google processes this data on our behalf as our service provider. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Data may be stored on Google servers, including outside your country. Data is encrypted in transit.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. If you leave a team, your membership record for that team is removed. Data stored only on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing tanveersinghchohan@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. We will delete it within 30 days. You can also edit or remove your profile details in the app at any time, and your team admin can remove you from a team.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Email us at the address above and we will help.

Children

MegaJoints is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Access to club data is restricted by server-side security rules so that only signed-in members of a team can read that team's data. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
